Video Projection/Presentation Systems

Video projectors continue to be brighter, and produce images that are sharper, so the video screen is often the centerpiece of a presentation system that’s been designed for large groups of people. When the presentation must be distributed to other areas of a facility, large screen monitors often augment the video projection system.

These systems may have had their beginnings in boardrooms and training centers, but today, their use has expanded dramatically. Large-scale video conferencing systems also utilize projector systems that work very well when multi-session images must be shown, since each participant in the conference may only be given a portion of the total screen viewing area.

In educational facilities, video presentation systems have been used at the college level for years, and finally became commonplace in high schools for large Group Instruction rooms and auditoriums . . . but today video projectors and screens have been steadily moving into the classroom.

Houses of worship have incorporated this technology into their normal services as another way of spreading the message to those attending, by showing pre-recorded programs, projecting the verses to the songs being sung, and with live feeds from video cameras.

Consider where video presentation systems are being used . . . when you do, it’s easy to see that these are the same facilities requiring commercial quality and professional quality audio systems. Often, it is desirable to have the audio and video systems integrated to allow for a single simple-to-operate user interface. Please see touch panel interface control systems for more information.
